Edu Falaschi lança “MI’RAJ”, capítulo final de sua trilogia conceitual

Após os aclamados álbuns “Vera Cruz” (2021) e “Eldorado” (2023), Edu Falaschi apresenta “MI’RAJ”, o terceiro e último capítulo de sua trilogia conceitual. O novo trabalho mergulha em temas como transcendência espiritual, identidade, fé, perdas, superação, intuição, vitórias e ascensão interior, ambientado no Oriente Médio do século XVI.

Musicalmente, “MI’RAJ” amplia ainda mais a identidade construída nos discos anteriores, incorporando elementos étnicos do Oriente Médio, atmosferas cinematográficas, estruturas progressivas, grandes orquestrações e fortes influências de heavy metal tradicional, rock progressivo dos anos 70/80, power metal, música sinfônica e fusion contemporâneo.
Todas as letras e músicas foram compostas por Edu Falaschi, com exceção parte dos instrumentais de “Watchers Of The Light”, “Wrath Into The War”, “Circle Of Dust” e “Mi’raj”, compostas em parceria por Edu Falaschi e Victor Franco.

Este álbum também marca a primeira colaboração oficial de Victor Franco no processo de composição ao lado de Edu Falaschi, o guitarrista teve papel importante na identidade musical de “MI’RAJ”, trazendo musicalidade, precisão e grande senso melódico. Mesmo sendo um guitarrista virtuoso, sua principal característica está na criação de riffs pesados e memoráveis, sempre priorizando a força das composições e o impacto musical das canções, além de solos extremamente melódicos e de extremo bom gosto.

O álbum também marca a estreia do baterista Jean Gardinalli em uma gravação oficial ao lado de Edu Falaschi. Com técnica impressionante, precisão, força, musicalidade e uma energia extremamente intensa e contemporânea, Jean teve participação fundamental na identidade sonora de “MI’RAJ”.

O álbum acompanha a continuação da jornada de Jorge, protagonista iniciado em “Vera Cruz”, agora confrontando revelações espirituais, perseguições ligadas à Cruz de Nero e conflitos internos que conduzem ao verdadeiro significado da transcendência, Edu Falaschi descreveu “MI’RAJ” como o momento em que o personagem finalmente compreende quem realmente é após perder praticamente tudo ao longo de sua jornada.

Entre os destaques do álbum está a faixa-título “MI’RAJ”, que conta com a participação especial da vocalista italiana Veronica Bordacchini, da Fleshgod Apocalypse. A música já foi lançada como single, encontra-se disponível em todas as plataformas digitais e já soma mais de 110.000 views no Youtube em poucos dias de lançamento.

O álbum também traz a participação especial do lendário vocalista Roy Khan, conhecido mundialmente por seu trabalho com Kamelot e Conception, na faixa “Circle of Dust”.

Outro destaque especial é a participação de Rafael Bittencourt, guitarrista do Angra, responsável pelo solo de guitarra da música “Intuição”. Esse é o primeiro trabalho musical em parceria de Edu e Rafael desde o álbum “Aqua”, do Angra, lançado em 2009 há 17 anos.

“INTUIÇÃO” marca ainda a primeira música original em português lançada por Edu Falaschi em aproximadamente 24 anos desde o álbum Hunters And Prey gravado com o Angra em 2002.

A produção do álbum foi realizada por Edu Falaschi, com co-produção de Thiago Bianchi. As gravações aconteceram no Fusão Estúdio, em São Paulo. A mixagem e masterização ficaram novamente a cargo de Dennis Ward, no TrakShak Studios, na Alemanha, repetindo a parceria estabelecida nos álbuns “Vera Cruz” e “Eldorado”.

A arte de capa foi criada por Carlos Fides, enquanto o conceito narrativo da obra foi desenvolvido por Edu Falaschi em parceria com Fábio Caldeira.

“MI’RAJ” será lançado no Brasil pela Voice Music e no Japão pela King Records. A gravadora responsável pelo lançamento na Europa e no restante do mundo será anunciada em breve.

01 – WATCHERS OF THE LIGHT

WATCHERS OF THE LIGHT abre o álbum apresentando a chegada de Jorge a Portugal em busca do destino de sua amada Janaína, que havia sido sequestrada pela Ordem da Cruz de Nero no final da história de Eldorado. Esse é o início das revelações sobre a guerra ancestral entre a Ordem da Luz e a Cruz de Nero que acontecerá no Oriente Médio. A música introduz a ideia de uma batalha cíclica entre forças espirituais, onde cada geração produz um “Escolhido” destinado a enfrentar o retorno do Dragão. O conceito de Mi’raj surge como símbolo central da conexão espiritual entre Jorge e seu destino, transformando a jornada em algo inevitável e profundamente pessoal.

02 – HERE I STAND

HERE I STAND revela a estrutura da Cruz de Nero e expande o lado antagonista da narrativa. A faixa apresenta a Assembleia do Dragão, liderada pelo Bispo Negro Cortés, mostrando uma organização ritualística altamente estruturada que pretende utilizar Jorge como peça central de um ritual apocalíptico. A música introduz elementos como as quatro fortalezas alinhadas e a Lança de Longino, conectando geografia, simbolismo religioso e ocultismo em um plano de destruição global.

03 – MI’RAJ

Na faixa-título, MI’RAJ, Jorge viaja até a Turquia e inicia sua jornada espiritual no Templo dos 12 Véus. A canção mergulha na ideia da “Melodia” como manifestação da consciência e da verdade interior, enquanto o protagonista é confrontado com sua própria linhagem e propósito. É também nesse momento que Jorge conhece a misteriosa Vidente, figura espiritual que o recebe nas terras do Oriente Médio e passa a guiá-lo ao longo de toda a jornada de MI’RAJ. A personagem surge como uma presença enigmática e profundamente conectada à espiritualidade da narrativa, conduzindo Jorge através dos testes do templo e da compreensão do seu verdadeiro destino. O conceito do Escolhido deixa de ser apenas heroico e passa a representar equilíbrio espiritual, autoconhecimento e resistência contra a corrupção da alma.

ECHOES OF VOWS apresenta o lado humano da narrativa. Jorge revisita memórias da infância, da Irmã Rosa e do amor por Janaína, questionando sua capacidade de suportar o peso da missão. A música trabalha a vulnerabilidade emocional do protagonista, explorando temas como insegurança, responsabilidade e o medo de decepcionar aqueles que moldaram sua trajetória. Em meio ao conflito épico, a faixa reforça que a verdadeira batalha também acontece dentro da consciência.

UNCHAINED representa a ascensão espiritual de Jorge através do ritual do Templo dos 12 Véus. Cada véu simboliza aspectos da condição humana, medo, orgulho, dor, renúncia e identidade, até que Jorge finalmente aceita sua verdadeira natureza como “Santo Jorge de Vera Cruz”. A música marca o grande ponto de transformação do álbum, onde o protagonista deixa de resistir ao destino e passa a compreender sua função dentro da guerra espiritual.

Cantada em português, INTUIÇÃO estabelece uma conexão sensorial e metafísica entre Jorge e Janaína. Presa pela Cruz de Nero, ela envia mensagens através de sonhos, símbolos e fragmentos da Melodia, guiando Jorge até o centro oculto das linhas de poder do ritual. A faixa explora a ideia de comunicação espiritual além da matéria, sugerindo que Janaína já começa a transcender os limites humanos enquanto tenta conduzir Jorge ao caminho correto.

CIRCLE OF DUST amplia a escala do conflito ao mostrar os exércitos da Luz e do Dragão, representado por cinzas, se preparando para a batalha definitiva. A música contrapõe visualmente os dois lados da guerra, fogo, ferro e fumaça contra pedra, vento e luz, enquanto introduz a espada do Arcanjo Miguel, “A Lâmina do Cântico”, conectando a guerra física à simbologia musical presente em toda a obra. A revelação da Vidente como Irmã Rosa transforma a narrativa em algo ainda mais íntimo e emocional.

Em ON YOUR OWN, a Irmã Rosa se despede definitivamente de Jorge, entregando não apenas conselhos espirituais, mas também as chaves necessárias para derrotar a Cruz de Nero. A faixa assume um caráter contemplativo e quase litúrgico, enfatizando que o ódio fortalece o Dragão e que somente a preservação da “Melodia” poderia impedir a abertura do portal que o traria a esse plano para causar destruição. O silêncio e a ausência tornam-se elementos narrativos tão importantes quanto a própria música.

09 – WRATH INTO THE WAR

Encerrando o álbum, WRATH INTO THE WAR conduz a narrativa para a batalha final em Jerusalém. Após descobrir a morte de Janaína e perceber que seu sangue foi utilizado como gatilho ritualístico, Jorge enfrenta a abertura do portal sob o Templo de Salomão, enquanto a realidade começa a colapsar em distorções físicas e espirituais. A morte de aliados importantes, como Cabral e Artur, reforça o peso sacrificial da guerra. No clímax, a morte do Bispo Negro pela espada do Arcanjo Miguel. A morte do Bispo Negro rompe a âncora espiritual da Cruz de Nero e sela o portal, encerrando não apenas a batalha, mas todo o ciclo iniciado na trilogia.
